Default HELP, Fluidyne problem...

I posted this in the Accord forum but it applies here as well. I bought a Fluidyne radiator and it fits perfectly, however, I cannot hook up the fan. The connector on the fan is different than the stock ones and it won't fit. Any ideas? Fluidyne said the Accord and Prelude radiators are the same (94-97 Accord & 97-99 Prelude). HELP!!

might be the same, but you probably should run slim fans that would work.

you already spent money on a fluidyne, might as well spend the extra bit of cash to make it work perfectly.

plus i think i read somewhere that you can't use oem fans on the fluidyne.

dunno for sure though.

if you need to...cut and splice. Otherwise look at your OEM fan and cut the connectors off....fab up to the fans on there and bam, you have your OEM connectors to the new fans. Should be same wires, different butt connectors

Yea i was told it will plug up too on my lude. Anyway I pull my old radiator, put all new hoses and install the new radiator just to find the harness doesnt match up. So i was kinda pissed. Anyway all i did was look at the lines on the radiator harness and one the harness from the stock radiator. They should both be blue and black. Just cut the new harness off and strip the wire about an inch and then go to your stock radiator and cut the wire a few inchs from the plug. Strip the wires about an inch on the stock radiator harness. Then match up the blues and blacks and solder the wires together. Then cover the wire with some type of insulator. I just used a few layers of electrical tape.

I got it fixed...somewhat. I snipped off the plastic shield that was blocking the throngs from connecting and then added a four inch piece of wire in and ran it across the radiator. It kicks on when the A/C is turned on but I don't know if it runs when its not. When I stop and try to see, it is never running.
