I dont think he was being mean here, but its super hard to diagnose a situation when you dont even know what the motor is built to.

On a side note, 13:1 on an h22 is a beast! My old roomate ran 12.5:1 on his h22 and put down 222whp/205wtq

Get that thing tuned and dont drive it until then.

Better milage from higher compression you mean?

You use less fuel to make the same power (or the same fuel to make more power, depending on how you look at it). It makes for a higher risk of detonation, but the mpg is better.

Yeah toss some toluene in there from a hardware store. I did that awhile back when I was running nitrous. Never really had problems with it. Good luck

We dumped 5 gallons of 116 in today, and it runs better without all the pinging. Now he is debating weather to get some cams, or just get it tuned. Thanks for all the help guys.

yeah im gonna get it tune, and throw some camshaft on there too but first im gonna get it tune to see if i can get the ping or knocking to go away frist and drive it lol. thanks alot rick

and does anyone how how low will it drop my comp on my engine by running Skunk2 Stage 2 camshaft ???? were guessing its probly 13 or 12 is the compr cause it was at least 305.
