My car was in the shop for two days getting a new clutch and synchros installed. I went to get it back today, and when I was driving home I tried turning my CD player on. Unfortunately when I turned it on it said "Code" and I was like what the hell? I clicked some of the buttons, and now it says "Err-3". I cant turn on the radio/cd player, and cant get the disc out. What the hell?

It's a 1998 Prelude SH.

Also the shifting feels so nice now, but the clutch is extremely light. I will have to get used to it.

 

What they did was probably disconnected the radio from the power source (battery from car). Now you need to enter the code for the cd player, all HONDA now require a code for the stock cd player after it has lost power, Anti theft cd players.

The code should be with the manual, if you ever got it from the previous owner or dealer. Its on a little card, like a business card, but smaller, with numbers.

 

Well I can't input a code anymore.

How do I reset it to go back to "code"

 

Disconnect the battery for a min or two. And then when you turn the car on again, it will ask you for it, you do have the code right?
