alright. i have a spoiler off of a new(er) celica, i'm not sure what year exactly.

my question is, is it alright for me to cut off the re-inforcement bars that are on the underside of my trunk?

the screws underneath the spoiler (needed to mount onto the trunk) are just too small to drill all the way through the re-inforcement dealies. it doesn't seem like too big of a deal, but is it ok to cut through those metal peices?
