Default Hello all!

Hey guys new to the forum.
my name is sean and I'm 23. I'm the proud owner of a heavily modified 2005 pointac GTO. I joined the forum because I work on a lot of my friends cars, lots of them being hondas.

I'm not one of those muscle car guys that hates everything else. I like all cars, I'm a gear head! anything thats quick gets my respect no matter what it is, or what badge is on the front.

anyways figured I'd introduce myself. ^^

no my question...

I'm going to do a clutch replacement on my buddies 1992 Honda Prelude SI with the 2.3litre.

I've searched and found a decent write up but it had no pics..

I was wondering if there are any more write ups on this process weather it be on this site or not?? I"m just looking for a little direction here and pics would be nice

PLEASE HELP
Thanks!
Sean

Pictures are hard to come by. A lot of them were lost with the transition from the old board. Thats why we have the ability to upload them now!

You have an awesome attitude towards cars Wish everyone was like that......

Anyhow, are you opposed to ordering a Helms manual CD from eBay? That would be pretty cheap and it would have a detailed walk-through and torque specs for the job.

Agreed, everyone should have the appropriate Helm's that works on a Honda. Relatively cheap and all the info you need. Best thing in my garage.

Thanks gents.

the owner of the car says he has a chiltons or haynes manual for the car already. so that base is covered. I apologize, I should have mentioned that in the OP.

anywho.. I was just coming on here to see if anyone had any tips/tricks... and even better a write up!!

hard to think that in this vast world wide web there is no write up for a clutch swap for these cars!! lol

Here is a write-up for a clutch install that I put into a big picture. Has torque specs, diagrams, and everything.

It's a huge picture (700x15,000 pixels).. might take long on a slow internet connection:
