Default Heated Mirror Problem. Need Help

Tried a search but no luck. Can someone help me.

The heated mirror on my gf's 2001 Prelude doesnt work. When you press it, the button lights up. But once you let go, it turns off.

Could it just be the switch that needs to be replaced?

TIA

My 2000 Predule had this problem; I just had it fixed under extended warranty. They replaced the power mirror switch, which meant removing the door panel.

The part number on my invoice is 35190-SV2-E01

The 3 year warranty just expired last month so I can't get it replaced under warranty.

Thanks, sounds like I just have to replace the switch. You got any idea how much the switch is worth?

You mean the US models don't have heated mirrors?

Sorry, the invoice doesn't say. Next time I bring it in I will ask.
