Does anyone have pics of a 4th gen lude with headlight eyebrows? Im not sure yet if i like the custom look or if it just looks gay.



Also, i like this wing a lot. But whenever i see some ******* driving a cavalier with a 15" high aluminum wing i cant help but laugh becuase of the whole downforce on a front wheel drive car. The wing is only 6" high. Would getting this be cool, make me a hypocrite, be gay, or make me a gay hypocrite? I might not get that exact one but maybe one that looks like it.

as for the wing..it's a red x. surely that is a sign saying.. "OEM....oem.."

edit:: as i failed to notice your signature..your taste seems to be pretty good imo, just dont mess up the black housings like this guy did.

Ummm.... learn more about aerodynamics before you assume downforce only helps the drive tires. Once you realize that at speed the wind going down your backwindow is acually lifting the car off the ground you'll understand. You aren't fast enough, or light enough for that wing to help, but, downforce back there would be a welcome addition at 100+ around a sweeping corner. Once your backend starts coming around at breakneck speeds you'll look at wings in a totally different way... although a rear difuser would... you know what I don't want to get into this right now.

to prelude92, you said exctly what was on my mind as i saw the pic. and yeah that is a lot to get into without becoming frustrated.

 

The car is black. I know downforce isnt ONLY for rw drive cars, but i just dont like the whole 20" high wing, thats all i was saying. Im looking into the carbon fiber wing becuase some ******* backed into my car and ruined the hood, so i'm ordering a carbon fiber hood instead of getting the factory one fixed. i think the hood with the spoiler would be bad ***.

 

i see what you're saying. the wing would flow with the hood.. a c/f wing + hood setup on a black car might look pretty nice. just go for it. do what YOU want to do with your car, don't worry about wether i think it's gay or rice.. cause its all about the owner. besides, i think you might get a few props if you keep that wing low key, and take the damn lettering off it..that's all i ask. haha.

imo, i still say forget about the eyebrows and you'll have yourself a tight looking ride.
