headers Problem

Default headers Problem



Okay i just got my car back i have my h22a swap....now i brought some OBX R headers and there is now gasket from where the headers and the Down Piping is connected...So my question is What is that gasket called? and where can i get from?

oh just to mention that i am loosing alot of HP that is why i am asking if there is a way i can solve this problem....it so bad u can hear the air while u are driving....

yeah neither do i... i mean i just got the motor and i did not want the stock headers so i just got the OBX ones i mean i had DC Sports on my SI motor but i was told that those headers do not work so yeah thats why i got the OBX haha anyways thanks let me try HondaAutomotoiveparts..........

at least they're better than nothing. the h23 header definately doesn't work. for one the bolt pattern is off and secondly, if you were to use the h22 top section, the h23 lower section doesn't match up because the bolt pattern is off and it's about 2 inches too low.

tighten up the bolts. Most aftermarket headers don't have a gasket betweeen the upper and lower sections. My neuspeed one doesn't.

Maybe its just bad quality/fit.

I heard that i can go to a store and buy like some gasket paper, and i can cut whatever shape i want out of it. and i heard it works pretty good what do you think? i am going to try to tight the bolts with an AIR Gun Tomorrow, and if that fails i will go with the Gasket Material Paper, and one more think do u think if i go to the Honda dealrship that the stock gaskets work on my headers?
