DC headers aren't bad. Just don't waste your money on their stainless steel ones. Get ceramic if you go DC.

Personally I think DC is garbage - their stuff either a) doesn't work; b) works ok, but falls apart; or c) doesn't work, then falls apart.

Go Mugen, or if you have money, get a custom one made by Hytech.

I couldn't agree more. I think everything that DC makes is basically crap.

Hytech---- DC will give you little power for the money.. If you want to gain 10hp, hytech or maybe mugen..

Well DC's stainless headers are about the poorest quality aftermarket stainless steel headers you can get. They have rusting problems and tend to show more signs of age sooner. The ceramic headers are a better buy. People also assume as fact that the ceramic headers will keep engine bay heat lower than stainless steel. Although no one has ever proven this, it makes sense.

If you have the money and need for the best header, yeah go with Mugen or Hytech definately instead. If you are just looking for a nice affordable street upgrade to add some noticable gains nearer to the "daily driven" range, DC usually can be counted on to give you that. Hytech is meant for the more hardcore enthusiast, if you have big plans for your Prelude, I would seriously consider it.

What car? Yeah DC is CRAP!
Joji is a dork.
Mugens are great but $$$
For half the price you can get Greddy stainless headers. I've got the Greddy headers and think the quality is just awesome. Makes DC look like something you'd buy at K Mart.

I've had the Greddy header (okay JG, not plural) for two weeks, the same amount of time I've had the H22.
I went through 2 DC headers (okay JG, in this case it is plural) on my old F22. Ugh. DC. Why I purchased a second DC header is beyond me. I forget what I was smoking that day.

I'm not saying for you to buy one, but I did want to say I've never had a problem out of my DC header. It's about the only thing I haven't been able to destroy too. lol

ceramic...
Ah, yes. As someone mentioned earlier... ironically the cheaper ceramic header is less suseptive to problems.
On both of my DC stainless headers, the gasket/head part (don't know the technical term for it) rusted right away. Both headers developed internal rattles. I thought they were just hollow tubes, but apparently there is inner tubing?
Anyways the Greddy header seems to have a stainless gasket/head thingie and sure looks like it won't rust. Even after just 2 weeks it's a whole lot prettier than the DC... shiney silver with nice shades of purple at the hot spot bends. The DC's instead had shades of some kind of puke color and all sorts of nasty stains after a week.

I liked the MY dc... but for the most parts, I've noticed that the stainless ones SUCK.

If I do get another header, it will probably be a Mugen just because I've always wanted one.

DC Sports are known for having the best welding techniques. I guess there techniques have gone down hill.
