header question
hey guys...
this may sound really stupid... but my friend told me that i can get a pipe that can be connected to your exhaust and then push a button and the device will run open header??? does this make sense? it supposedly is a pipe that connects to your exhaust manifold and then it is shaped somewhat like a y and one part of the pipe connects to the cat and the other runs off to the side. then supposedly there is a button you push that closes off the flow to the pipe that is connected to the cat and then the flow runs to the open header pipe?? and vice versa.... i just wanted to make sure if my friend is tellin the truth.... does this make sense and is there anyway i can get one if there is one?

Close to the same gains you'd get running open header. So it's gonna depend on your setup, and how much your exhaust is restricting it. Could be anywhere from zero to 1,000 horsepower, really. But a well-designed cat-back on a typical Honda motor is only gonna be sapping a horsepower or two.

LOL i love the motley crew playing in the background.
I dunno if this thing would be worth the time/money to install it. nice catback maybe test pipe should do the trick.
