header & O2 sensor
i just bought a DC header used, for my 91Si B20, the guy said its got 1 o2 hook up. my manifold has 2. he said splice em together. what should i do? it will be here friday. i got it for 200shipped, its ceramic.
does it go all the way to the cat or the flex pipe? if it goes to cat, how i get those bolts off, cut em?

My experience when I swapped my JDM B-Series engine into my CRX was similar to what you're going through. What I found to be the "correct" solution is to have o2 bungs welded in the same locations as the engine's stock o2 locations, even with aftermarket exhaust setups.
The reason behind this is that each o2 sensor measures separate exhaust runs. Splicing these two o2 wires together, or running 2 consecutive (one behind the other) o2 sensor will send erronious (sp?) readings to the ECU and you'll have either idle or running issues.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!

The emulator is mainly to ajust for a "after CAT" o2 location, specifically if you've removed it; this would only apply to the newer '96 up Preludes (OBD2) where there's one o2 located before the CAT, and one o2 located after the CAT.
For your situation, the correct way to handle this would be to get the bungs welded into your new header, since the ECU would be using the two o2 singnals in unison to adjust fuel delivery.

this sucks, my local guy, siad i can use spark plug foulers, for my mount. i can drill in it and thread it myself. then screw the mount in, and use muffler mend and put it on back side so you cant see it. what ya think about that? if not, i might just have to make the call to my welder. i dont want to though we aibt talked in a while.
what ya think about my plan though, in hope for it?

I don't see this as a PERMANENT solution. I don't even think that spark plug fowlers even have the same hole size and thread pattern as the o2 sensor, and with the heat and vibrations going through the exhaust, would make me afraid to even try this as a TEMPORARY fix.
Besides, if you're going to go through the trouble of "rigging" something temporarily, you might as well just pay 15$ to a muffler shop and have them do it RIGHT in 5mins.

i see where u coming from, but think about it, a plug fouler inside head or on a header. the temp in head probably hotter. the bang of combustion, probably more then exhaust gases shooting by. just my thought.
well its installed and i took 1 O2 sensor ands spliced wires and plugged them back in and haing no problems, do feel alttle gsin in my mid rsnge b/ 2000-4000 rpm.
