i have this rattling and i recently went to the muffler shop i have a 95 lude si with the h23a1 and the guy said that my header was messed up causing it to rattle can anybody explain this to me and will this hurt performance how long can i go with that one on

 

The bracket on the back of my H23 DC header broke off and caused an annoying rattle. I finally figured out what it was, took the broken peice of, and now no rattle, just a cracked header

So I'd say check where your header bolt to the back of the block.

 

yeah i was gonna get the new dc sports ss header but im out of money just got upgraded brakes and allignment and exhaust that is on the way i was wonderin if the ss headers on ebay would be decent i got enouf to get one of them im not really lookin for that much performance now from that i can get a good one later just dont want to degrade from factory

 

Yeah, I think you'd be OK with those for a while...

i found some ractive ones on for like a lil more i think they just started makin them which would be better just get the cheap ss ones or the ractive ones bc i have heard the dc sport ones r crap and like nobody else makes any for a h23
