Default Header fitment question

My friend has a 95 prelude s with the f22 or f23 (cant remember) non-vtec and my question is if an si/sh header will fit this F-series engine... We've had a hard time trying to find a (low priced) header for this car and the only thing they seem to have is si or sh...
sorry if im not making sense... im an ef guy... thanks guys

So you are saying that you have an f-series engine and want to know if an h-series header from the prelude si or sh can fit? Correct?

The answer is no. I had an f-series and now an h-series and they wont fit. Sorry. If they did, there would be a lot more parts available for the f-series but there arent.

You're going to have to look up accord parts to find stuff for an f22

i know the sh header wont fit it. the sh your talking about is the newer prelude h22a4 sh model, that header is different b/c of fitment to the car(correct me if im wrong 5th gen guys), the bolt pattern on all h22 heads are the same no matter what as far as i know....

the si header is for the h23 im assuming (4th gen si) and im almost sure that one wont fit either but i could be wrong, sorry cant give a definate answer on that one im a h22 guy....

my best advice on a f22 (thats what the lude s has) header is dont buy one.....they are a pretty crappy engine and the header wont do you much good....tell him to save the dough up for h series goodness....

He is swapping an h22 at SOME point... he says... but u know u gotta have a little more punch even with the stock engine....

Oh, so would a header from a f22 accord fit? same engine, just on a different chassis...

yeah the accord header would work, just some advice for you though:

if you really have your mind set on a header go ahead, but it will be a waste of money. headers have been a huge topic of discussion on here lately and we have proven that no more than a 6 whp gain is seen from most headers, if even that, and this is on performance h22s, the f22 will see less...put the money into maybe some OBX cams....hehe jk

Yup. Look up accord engines if you do decide to get a header.
