head lights question
this saturday i went to one of those japanese car accessories stores to get a set of bright white/blue head light bulbs but the guy in the store told me there are no aftermarket bulbs for 2001 prelude. He said H1's fit for older models but not 2001 and that I would have to do some modifications for the bulbs to work. To me this sounds like bullshit. Can anyone tell me if this is true? What kind of light bulbs can i get for my 01 lude and how much do they cost? Which brand would you guys recommend and where can I buy them?
thanx

Is this what you're talking about? http://students.washington.edu/sunn/h3c.html
so r u saying that I can buy any H1 bulb and it's going to fit my 01 lude?
what about the heat of some bulbs? will the headlight be able to take the heat?

hes telling the truth.
the base mount for the headlights have been changed in the 2001.
well at least in my 2001 SE.
It's because the metal ring does not touch the 2 metal prongs to complete the circuit. So no light.
I know for sure Eurolite wont work, I got them to work w/ some modifications. Some work and some don't. I know RAZO ones work w/o modifications. So buy them at your own risk.

Ure talking bout headlights... correct? Why the hell would the 2001 Canadian model change. Damn, then I guess prod, ure screwed... j/k. Just find out what size the headlight is and ask around. I live in the states, so I wouldn't kno much about the Canada version of the SE Lude.
I have to say that's the oddest thing I ever heard. Why would Honda do that? It makes no sense to me at all. I bet they changed that but left the crappy auto tensioner that fail in the car. Weird weird weird!
get razo ones, they work well....i have them on my lude now and they havent burnt out and i already used them for like 5months..!! its worth it for the money man...dont get shitty brand ones..that wont veen last for one week..!@

I dunno...maybe Honda wants to monopolize the H1 market. BUY THIS ONLY. lol.
But seriously my crap eurolites would not work w/o modifications. So far its only the Eurolites that don't work, but worked for my friends '99 lude perfectly
prodigy: Any Razo should work, its your preference. Yes 2 sets 1 for low, 1 for high. Stay w/ stock wattage. Easy to install refer to owner's manual.
