Dont mean to jack thread but I was just wondering y cant you just swap the h22a motor if you have an sh? Someone said that earlier. My fren wants to swap out the h22a4 and put in a h22a because he hydrolocked and the spun rod cracked the block.

 

You can't because the SH engines use a different trans, and the block itself is different to accomodate ATTS. Your friend can find another SH or JDM Type S to swap, and if it's not an SH or Type S motor, he needs to get both the engine and trans.
