Default h22a1 knowledge needed......

Okay- a couple of questions with my h22a1 swap into my 94 accord

1. I am needing a map sensor. Do i have to use a prelude map sensor, or are there any off of other cars that will work. If someone has one for sale, drop me an email at aver9413@uidaho.edu and i will buy it from you.

2. There is a sensor above the oil filter, and one below the oil filter. i am assuming that one is the knock sensor, and one is the oil pressure sending unit. Which one is which?

3. My engine does not have an IAB box. is there a way around having one, or do i have to have one. If nothing else, could the car run without it until i can find one? If someone has one for sale, drop me an email at aver9413@uidaho.edu and i will buy it from you.

Any MAP sensor should work as long as it is not incorporated into the throttle body (prelude has a separate MAP sensor installed on the firewall).

The knock sensor is located above the oil filter, oil pressure sensor below the oil filter

You will need to source another IAB box as this controls your secondary butterflies on the intake manifold. Try a junkyard/salvageyard for one.
