Default H22 variations?

Ok well I've been wanting to build a little budget car just to play around with for a few years and have kept spending the money on Bs and then staying all motor, but have wanted to do a JRSC on an H22 for a while now. I was wondering what specifically was the reason that the JRSC didn't fit on the older gen H-series and if there is a specific code I should be looking for when buying a motor. My best guess would be intake manifold bolt pattern but have no proof backing it. Any info is greatly appreciated.

P.S. It's to swap into a '93 hatch. Thanks again.

search in the archived you find all the info youll need. IIRC it was modding the bracket and something else cant remember. if you dont wanna mod things (not sure about in a civic) get the h22a4 thats the motor its app is for.

If i remember right it wasn't the motor. It was just the lag of space in the 4gen angine bay so the sc would hit the firewall or something like that. I may be wrong tho.

Yeah I tried the searched but it's been a while since I've been on H-T as I've spent most of my time on the RX7 forum lately, but I still miss my slew of Hondas and just gotta have one. Thanks for the info as that'll be reall helpful...time for me to start looking at the clearances of the enginebays and try and figure something out. Suprised I didn't get the full flame on. H-T seems to have gotten soft. Jp. Appreciated!
