Default h22 question

hey wassup guys. i just recently swapped a 98 h22a4 into my cuzins 92 prelude that had a h23 in there. so i used the old wiring harness and all that bullshit but i also ended up using the non vtec distributor, it turns on and drives good but when you step on the gas and while the rpm go up to like 4000rpm and higher it barely goes. im not sure what the problem is but i was just wondering if i can just keep the h23 distributor on that h22 or does that effect antything. i am also using the h23 ecu right now but im trying to find an obd1 p13. so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I think its because your running a h23 ecu on an H22 motor. When i first did my swap i had to use the h23 dis.... also and i never had a problem with it. I would say get the ECU and if it still runs shity than get another dis...... Almost forgot thats where vtec usually will kick in remember that your running a non-vtec ecu
