Default ground control lowering

hey, i have had my gc/koni coilovers on for a while now, the rears i had on for about 4 weeks now and its fine, but the fronts i have had on for a week and a half now and i still cant get it very low, how long does it need to settle, i have it more than 3/4 down and its still like a little more than a 2 finger gap in the front, any ideas?

It sounds like they are revesed, the Prelude on ground controls is supposed to be raked..(lower in the front than the rear).

Depends. If he got springs that are the same height then it wont matter. I have a 97 Prelude and just got my kit. All 4 springs are 8" high so I can swap the front to the rear. If he has the same then it shouldn't matter.

Also check the konis. What circlip setting are you using for the GC perch. I think you have like three options in the front and two in the rear. I've got mine on the lowest perch front and rear.

im rockin ground controls with red eibach springs and blue tokico struts... just bounce weight on the fender a few times to get it to settle, it doesnt take a week, i measured from the fender well to the ground to get the ride height right, i am running 225/50 16s so i cant lower mine too much, i would lower it all the way down and see where your at, they arent hard to adjust, just need a jack, a few sockets and a hex what size tires are you runnin?? make sure you dont bottom out your struts, i blew a kyb agx by slammin it all the way down, if it is used to riding at a certain height you can damage it by lowering it to low, if they are new you should be fine... keep adjusting and measuring to you see what you want. and then get a damn alignment, if you lived in md i could help you out

not sure, you should be able to jack the car up and change the clip without removing the assembly though.

Not if you lower the car beyond 1.5 inches. It voids the warranty.

pretty sure there is no way they can tell. Like I live where the roads are ****** terrible and my struts bottom on alot. How can agx tell you they wont warentee then because your town sucks. Maybe your cars not even lowered.

how much of a rake..? i just did the same install, 01 prelude, gc/ky.. front and rear springs were the same length but one was thicker.. put those in the front and it sits about 1.50" from tire to fender maxed out.. rear sits almost 3 inches maxed. it looks like a damn hot rod - my girl is kind of upset.. ha. i told her i didn't know anything about suspension..

any suggestions..?
