but did you dyno it? BUTT DYNOs don't count.....
Just for reference, I saw gains of 15whp/9tq by switching from a Greddy header and stock exhaust to Vibrant header and Greddy SP2 exhaust.(~$1000)
12-14whp/10tq from s2s1 cams(~$700 with cam gears) Exhaust isn't as much of a waste as some make it seem.
</TD></TR></TABLE>

Agreed butt dyno's don't give numbers, but I'm sure if I picked up 15hp I would notice. Now if I tuned the car I might be able to see more gains. Either way I think going from a Greddy copy to a Greddy isn't going to get you very far.

We ESP have seen a 8+ whp gain over the Co's you just mentioned. More flow to a point = more power. At the time I needed a H22A 4-2-1 header for my car that would perform well, make good #'s and hug the oil pan. 2" runners down low into a true 2.5" collector has worked out well and the numbers are nice for the price range.

To add to this post... having a good header with a 2.5" collector and without a 2.5" exhaust system would in my eyes be pointless. The Co's you have listed I believe both have a 1.9" collector exit...

DC/Megan/Ebay headers are pretty weak upgrades over stock H22 headers, and you header is half DC/Megan/Ebay. Where do you source the top half from? I've always been curious.

I'd like to see your well-documented, corrected graphs before I believe any of that.

I have long doubted your numbers. There is NO way your dynojet reads anything like most other 248c dynojets. Unless you had some freak engine....

If you can get a dc with a 2.5" collector for a reasonable price, I'd go for it.

I used to have a greddy with a custom 2.5" collector, no complaints, made a tad over 190whp IIRC.

that tells me nothing. woohooo, 200whp.....let me hang on your *****...sorry, doesnt work that way. You have forever tried to compare your peak numbers to other people with the same mods to 'glorify' the header and i'm sick of it. Anyone who really understands dyno's and tuning knows that the resulting numbers vary from dyno to dyno and the only way to truely test its power output is to take it to the track and note the MPH.
