Default GM Syncromesh

OK, I've heard good review on this product, but I have a few questions.

1) Do I need a specific type of the fluid?

2) How many bottles do I need?

3) How hard is it to do yourself? (instructions or link if you have would be great!)

Thanks!

PS I have a 96 Prelude VTEC if that makes a difference

yes, yes there is

go to advance and get a 12 dollar haynes manual, give you basic information on where to find the right places, might not be a haynes on that new of a vehicle though, so a helms or a honda shop manual will help you a great deal

i would tell you, but i own a 3rd gen and its not in the same place

Just get the regular, it will just about take two quarts if bone dry, and its very simple if you have a funnel w/ a long flexible filler hose.

Wait a second... everyone told me that I can't put it in myself, because it has to be pumped in from the side. Like the opening is on the side somewhere. Is this BS??
