my friend has an '88 prelude and the estimate to get all his windows tinted was 200, whereas my '95 lude was 129. the shop says the rear window on the 3rd gen model is curved and it makes it harder to tint it. is that BS, because $71 is a big difference for a little curve in the window.....

 

its a pain in the *** to tint a curved window. Ask anybody who has tinted a corvette...its not fun. $200 seems right.

 

Shouldn't be in here i think but WTF..... that's rip off... Over here in CA i know this guy 80 all the windows done perfect.... but otherwise **shrugs** for $200 at dealers should just be around 150 or so

 

Shop around but you'll probably only save around $20-30

 

wrong forum, but anway, curves are hard to tint and take longer. If the tinter can do it seamless and match up any joints on the defroster lines I'd say its worth it. Of course you can shop around and save a bit I'm sure.
