im getting a 5th gen lude and wondering what to look for? its a 5 speed and im wondering if there is any major problems anybody ran into?

 

go for a 99 and up, 200hp instead of the 190hp of the 97 and 98

 

97-98 = 195hp (not 190hp)
99-01 = 200hp

The only problem I know of is the autotensioner going out. Have that checked out and do a h23 manual tensioner conversion. The second is ignition switch safety recall (97-98 I think. Correct me if I'm wrong ) Btw the 5hp isn't going to matter so get any year 5th gen prelude.

i been wanting a lude since i was 15 pretty much..white also. i had a 93 long long time ago..a SOHC F22 motor..i just want another one...to me they are more rare then any EK
