Default found h22

found an h22 for sell. no intake man, exhaust man, or ecu and harness. just block and head. 50000 or less miles. no tranny. 1000. deal or no deal. will put in my civic coupe. that about telling the guy i would give him 700. but i would need so much for the swap. thanks in advance

Sounds risky, just going on that info.

I just took a look at what hmotorsonline had and they have complete engine + tranny + ECU for 1900-2400 depending on which one you picked.

If you could get it for $700 that may not be to bad. but you'll probably end up spending about the same if you just got a complete swap. If your looking for a deal i would suggest just waiting till you could get a complete swap. hope that helps.

twice i paid 900 for what you found+intake mani.

Mine also came with the upper half of the ehxaust mani too, but thats pretty worthless.

if your goin from h23->h22, i beleive ur intake mani will fit fine, and you need to buy new headers anyways since they are diff, and the tranny will mate right up, so ur prolly not missing much.

Not worth it. Just buy a complete motor for a few hundred more.

FYI, no it will not. The bolt pattern is completely different between the h22 and h23 manifolds (intake and exhaust).

I would NOT buy that motor. I just got a really clean long block from JDM-online, shipped for $1450. Go find another motor

look through all the prelude boards for part outs after wrecks and stuff... i know theres one in the h-t marketplace from a guy w/ a longblock and im sure he's charging less... car has 78k on it i believe (im getting his tb) but yeah the prices are really good and he seems like a decent guy. theres one on preludepower that needs a partial rebuild for 400 asking price i think? and i know theres one on craigslist thats 200$ w/ a spun rod bearing (to be rebuilt) so... u can get like 78k for prob around 500$ or buy one of those project motors and start over at 0 miles on rebuild for around the same price as the one u listed. gL
