Hey i just purchased this new exedy light weight flywheel and my dum a** popped off the pilot bushing and i was wondering if i can still put the flywheel on like that or should i find another bushing!!! Please!!! Help!!! Me!!!

 

cant u just pop it back in?try puttin a small block of wood over it at lightly tap it with a hammer or rubber mallet..just a thought correct me if u shoudlnt do this guys...

 

how did you manage to pop out the pilot bushing?

you popped it out? so pop it back in!

 

I kinda messed it up and it doesnt want to fit over the tranny shaft thats why i was wondering if it will work without it cause its only like a 1/16th inch gap around the shaft

 

Took me a while but yeah i managed cause a friend told me a bearing went there.

 

nope i coldnt i just put it in like that and just wondering if it will be safe!!!!!

are you talking about the flywheel bearing or the throw out bearing?

 

flywheel!!!!!! bearing

 

Put it back in and if it goes it tight, then if will be fine. Pilot bearing is not a nessecity anyway...
