does anyone know how to go through the firewall on a 97 lude. I've tried lookin for it for like 30 mins and still have no clue where to go through at.

 

look for a rubber gromet below the brake master cylinder.

 

If it's anything like the 4th gens, you can remove the 2 bolts holding down the fuse box and then undo the two clips close to the firewall and then ove it out of the way. Tons of room and like 2 or 3 holes to fit very large gauge wire or sensors or whatever.

 

I know i'm bringing this post back to life...But does anyone have any pictures of how to get through to the firewall, or the location of the rubber gromet everyone keeps talking about??? I'm kinda duh with it all right now...
