I have a 5th gen prelude 01 and i have recently put in new dc headers and a full tenrai catback exhaust. Now when i accelerate (which my acceleration is very slow now) my car sounds very breathy almost like it is leaking. To be honest my car sounds like a lawn mower especially when it is idle. I was wondering what this could be. Do you think it is bad gaskets or is it something wrong with the catback exhaust and headers? Also my car started to get really bad gas mileage. I only get about 17 mpg in the city and about 21 on the highway. Whats up with that?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

 

find the source of the exhaust leak. with all that new stuff, i might beleive it to be where the cat bolts up to front pipe and/or extension pipe. check it out
