Default error code reading

Hello!
this is a stupid question but could someone tell me how to read error codes on 5th gen prelude?
I know that there is a pin that I need to connect to get the code but I couldn´t find it!
the problem that we have is that my friend put a new f22 into his prelude affter his old one melted a piston and it started after the swap but when he tryed to start it the second time it wouldn´t start. The starter does spin but it just wont start and it seems like the starter power is cutting. also the engine check light doesnt light up when we put the power on. I know that you probably don´t understand anything that I write because it´s wery hard to explain it with my english but if someone has a any suggestion what could be wrong PLEASE tell me!

in a 5th gen prelude it would be an H22 not F22. Big difference there. 2nd, on the passenger side of the stereo column, you find a little carpeted peice that should pop right off, behind that youll find a blue connector, and there you have it. Get a paperclip or wire, close the circuit and watch the check engine light for the code. Is the car in limp mode ?or you cant even get it to start? is the CEL actually on ?
