Hi guys,

I've got a 5th gen that has recently started "surging" as the revs get to around 6700 and above. The power seems to come on and off, not harshly, but like the engine is stumbing a bit.

It occurs when the car is fully warmed up, so its not any sort of artificial cutoff.

Anyone heard of these symptoms?

Anyone? It seems to be getting worse. Fuel pressure maybe?

 

Perhaps dumping gas in the back seat and setting the whole car on fire might help?

 

I had the same problem with my H22......turned out to be the distributor itself...could be a bad coil inside.
