engine question
my 92 si is making some funny noises in the left side of the engine bay...i thought that it just needed some oil but we put some oil in it and it still does that...i'm not sure where to start...it sounds like a choking sound on the left side of the engine...it goes away when i put a little gas ...but when the car is on idle, the noise starts again...i need help asap...thanks

Left side of the engine? Is that when you're facing the engine from the front or from the drivers seat?
It's clearer if you say "passenger side" or "driver side" or "accessory side" or "transmission side."
Even so, diagnosing a "choking sound" over the internet is going to be very difficult.
