engine lopes at idle
when i first start the car after its been sitting for a few hours it lopes. (especially when cold). also the other day when i started it i had a moderate amount of white smoke, it hasn't done it since though. after it warms up, it goes away but i still have a rough idle. the steering wheel shakes lightly but it is sitting a 750 rpms( which is normal right? )
i have the troubleshooting guide so i have an idea what to check. i was thinking a vacumm leak and i'm pretty sure i can hear it but still haven't found it. just looking for some ideas on what this could be.

#1 vacuum leak.
#2 faulty tps
#3 faulty IAC valve
those are the most common assuming everything is stock and you did not change anything.

I have the same dang problem, but nobody else seems to be able to find the solution. I've tried disconnecting the IAC valve, if the idle drops or the engine dies, then it's working properly. If it doesn't change, then your IAC is messed up. Is there a way to test your TPS sensor?
