I am going to buy a f22a engine from tiger japanese it dosent come with a trany does it matter what kind of transmission i put on that engine or can it only be a manual or automatic, the trany from my old engine is a manual.

 

Any H series or F series transmission is interchangeable, exept for the S2000 f22c. If you had a manual transmission before your going to want to use that one. It has to match your ECU. There is a different ECU for automatic and manual transsmissions.
