Engine dying?...

Engine dying?...
Ok In my wifes lude which is the 97, it has happen to us 4 times. It just quits under normal driving. Today it happen on take off. No check engine light no nothing. Just when it happens the key light flashes. Its like it quits even in gear. Any ideas or suggestions? TIA

Just like normal turned the key. 3 out of the 4 times it happen it just started back but one time my wife had to wait a few mins
