i'v been drving my 93 lude vtec for over 2 years and never met any problems wif it....recently i realized that when i start the car, the idling is normal and after drving for abt 2-3 miles, i can feel tat the car is jerking and losing power...when i step on the accelerator, the acceleration is very wierd and slow. and when i stop at the light, i noticed that the idling rpm is very low close to 200....sometimes, the car will jux go dead while driving....any clues???

 

by the way, the mileage on my ride is ard 61000...thanx!!!! any help is greatly appreciated!

 

mabye you have a bad 02 sensor

 

that's pretty low mileage for a 93 dude.
sounds like an ignition problem to me. could be anything from simple timing to failing igniter (ignitor?).
