Which engine is this?
I'm looking to buy this engine but it doesn't match what the seller says.
It's said to be from a 5th Gen 1998 JDM Prelude 2.0l but any checks i did say that it should be a F20A4 but pictures of this engine don't look like this which to me looks like the older B20 engine from either a 3rd or 4th Gen Prelude.
What do you all make of it?

It just has an H/F-series DOHC nonVTEC head like the H23. If the F20A4 is a SOHC, then maybe they swapped a DOHC head on there or possible swapped the engine, but it's not a B-series for sure.

^Because it isn't, pretty sure in Japan the H22 was standard like the US, only Europe had the weak engines and base 4 lug models.
Look at the engine stamp, that will tell you right away.
And for your information the 3rd gen Prelude motors do not stand upright like that, they are cast at a 18 degree angle to clear the super low "Engineless design" hoodline.
And it was either a B20a5/B21a1-DOHC or B20a3(carb-sohc) in USDM models.
