Eng. Check Light - Code 420?

My friend put a aftermarket Cat on his 98 Prelude and since then his Check Engine Light comes on after 20 minutes of driving. Can someone please tell me how to fix this code? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone else have a solution to this problem? His says that it doesn't come on when you first start the car but after 20 minutes of driving it comes on everytime.

Oxygen sensor? Don't know about Code 420 (unless the code you're talking about involves a bong and some munchies.)

P0420 actually means that the sensor detected that the cat is inneficient.

YOur cat is probably bogus or insufficient for the engine.. THat is why it is lighting up. What cat did you put on there?
