Default Emergency release button?

I bought the car with the "chrome" E-brake release button peeling and it kooks like T-total crap. I found a replacement on tasauto.com. Its for an accord but i imagine it'll work. Only thing is i don't have the slightest clue how it comes off? please help me

its a cheap part from the honda dealer if you wanna get it there and it just screws out...it takes a lot of turns

getting the new one on without scratching it up is the hard part mine still sticks out a lil bit further than i want it to...

Get a pair of needle nose pliers and wrap em with electrical tape and some cardboard to pad it - then grip and turn it on

worked for me but I still managed to scratch it a lil
