i have a 1992 honda prelude si with 4ws the other day when i was ripping around my gauges went nuts . my coolent temp gauge was all the way up to hot level and my tach and mph gauges went from the speed i was going to 0 mph and jumped backup the car ran fine wasn't running hot or nothing just my gauges screwing up i was told its my alternator? I don't no what to do. the check engine light isn't on but my 4ws light is. when i turn my lights on everthing dims (gauges) what should i do?
