EL Cluster
I'm purchasing an el cluster on Tuesday. I saw a guy on ebay light up a cluster and, I'd like to know how to do this to make sure my cluster is good. So what's the procedure to get a cluster lit up? Thanks

i'd just put it in the car and try it, it's probably only 15-30 minutes job. Plus, all you can test is the backlight. There is no way to test the speedo or tacho.. unless you are an uber nerd with a computer, then it's possible..

I see what you're saying, but I have a 92-93 cluster/harness so I couldn't just plug it in my car to test. I'd just like to see that the lighting works, and I want to see the mileage.

Good question .. I want to know too. Anyone know which pins on the EL gauges are for Power and Ground ? ( for test purposes with gauges Out of the car ) .. As you can see from the above photo, it has been done .. I just want to know how.
