Default ecu problem?

ok well this is going to sound really stupid probably, but here it goes. whenever my car runs sluggish and it feels like theres a loss of power, i disconnect the battery (reseting the ecu) and it runs ALOT smoother and i feel a gain in power. is this normal? is it possible? or is it just all in my mind? haha

do you have a check engine light? what mods have you made to your prelude? how many miles on the car? and have you had tune-ups as scheduled or any tune-up recently?

i have 98k, no check engine light, only short ram intake, and no recent tune ups, but saving for timing/tensioner and all that crap

are you sure your cel bulb isn't burned out? if there are no cels, your ecu shouldn't slow down the car.
