Default ECU options?

Alright I have a h22a in my civic and I did the headgasket the other day when I put it all back together it would not start I got a code 15 igniton output signal and i am not getting any spark. I want to try a ECU to check if it might be that. But there are no p13 around. What other ecu could I use just to see if it starts?

So it started before the head gasket?

This is in the FAQs, Official 'how to trouble-shoot your H22 swap':

yea it started befor. I tested befor the dizzy and after and was not getting voltige at the ecu. I have a dizzy on the way I put a new cap on but did not help, and it is an jdm internal coil so besides the roator the parts would be hard to find.

Is the ECU ground attached to the thermostat housing? It's easy to forget to hook that one back up...

alright ill try to find one of them around. I live in the sticks of maine so there is not much around unless you are talking about 4x4 or a mustang.

What about a p08 will that work?

unless the ecu is the culprit, changing it will net the same results.

Can I hook up my p06 and take the plugs out turn it over and it should spark? That would tell me if it is my ecu or not.

I dont know if its the Ecu or not. It doesnt sound like it would be the Ecu, unless you hooked it up wrong, tried to turn the car on and shorted out the dizzy part of the Ecu.

Pull your current ecu and open it up. Look for anything out of the ordiary. Burn marks, broken little wires, anything that doesnt look right.
