Default dropping type-SH

wanted to know what suspension other SH owners are running. i want to go with GC/koni yellows but im having to much trouble with installing base suspension on my SH becuase i dont know which camber kits to use (base or SH). so i guess i have to go with an SH suspension. let me know what you guys are running and where to order from. need to drop it asap. thanks

this has been covered many times, and i dont understand how your having trouble putting on "base" suspension, theres no difference in installing base and sh suspension so i call bs on that.

You don't need a camber kit, just get an alignment. And try searching.

I know that the front upper control arms of the SH are different (longer) than the Base. I am not aware of any suspension differences in the rear (and I don't know why there would be).

So camber kits for the rear are probably the same (Base & SH), but you will probably want to look into one specifically for the SH to use on the front suspension.

Yes you are correct, the only difference is the front upper control arms. And i have found the specific camber kits for the SH. But since im going to install GC coilovers and koni (because im buying a combo) that are for the base that fit with no problem on the SH; i dont know which camber kits to buy; base camber kits since the koni's and GC are base or buy SH camber kits since my car is an SH. it might be that neither will do the job because the SH camber kits do not match the base suspension, and the base camber kit doesnt match my upper control arm of the SH. Maybe i would have to swap upper control arms from a base prelude. any advice or ideas of which one would work or if i have to swap contorl arms? thanks

any 5th gen owners running Tein SS coilovers? Would it be a good decision over the GC/koni. just asking because i found it for the sh, and if it were just as good then i wouldnt have to deal with this camber kit mix up of base or SH with GC/ koni yellows. let me know what you guys think

This is the suspension ive been looking at, it says its for type-sh, so i could just purchase type-sh camber kits and have no problem. Let me know what you guys think i should do.http://www.sportcompactonly.co...6.htm

My suspension is based of Ground Control Coilovers, koni yellows and i used SPC camber kits for the front. Made specifically for the SH.

I don't have any experience with an SH, but I would if I were a bettin' man I would say get the SH camber kit. The Coilovers don't really play into the movement of the control arms. Well, except for the ride height that is.
