Default DRL light

Hey I was looking at a write up about checking the code for the CEL and i was wondering if this same way could work on a DRL computer plug. If not how can i diagnose what is going on with my DRLs. They used to work and the light started to flicker. They havent worked in a while, but with them not working my brights dont work either. anyone have this problem too because its the only light left on my dash during the day and its getting annoying. thanks

Probably a problem with the DRL relay. I had the exact same problem on my 95, the DRL light was always on and they did not work, and only 1 of the high beams worked (the DRLs are the high beams on lower voltage, so it makes sense).

I searched up a fix for the DRL relay, which is a fairly common problem, just need to resolder the relay. I did this to mine, and they worked flawlessly afterwards.

Here's the write-up I used: http://www.nyx.net/~smanley/hondadrlfix/

Buying a new one would fix it if the relay ends up being the problem.
