Im looking for a list of everything that came in the Jdm honda preludes (92-96) that did not make it in the Usdm honda preludes. And maybe a list of stuff thats in the usdm but not jdm. Didn't know if one of these are around (search, but got nothing) if not then we should start them and maybe even pin them.

 

Stuff available on jdm cars unique to US:
side markers
outer turn signal as fog light only when turning that way
1 peice headlights
chrome nostrils ( pic: http://i37.photobucket.com/alb...1.jpg)
folding mirrors
SiR models came stock with "red-backgrounded" H emblems
In-dash screen
DSP sound system
Parking Pole
Rear Foglight
seatbelt to seatback holder thingies (i dunno, wstef has them)

im sure there is more stuff i forgot....

Also i thought the rear foglight was only on the europen models? And we should do pictures to go along with all of these, like u did with the chrome nostrils

Haha! Chrome nostrils. Only the 4th gen could make nostrils cool to begin with.... but chrome ones?

 

The rear foglight is EDM thingy. JDMs don't have them.

i have a jdm prelude. the stuff i can think of that is different from my other one or things i can remember about jdm ludes.
include:
-RHD
-digital climate control
-chrome nostrils
-parking pole
-rear fog (edm)
-center dash speaker
-foglights
-one piece headlights (chrome and black housing)
-rear whipper
-no sunroof option
-seat belt retractor
-steering wheels w/ no airbags
-SiR models came stock with "red-backgrounded" H emblems (?)
-In-dash screen w/ optional navigation
-DSP sound system
-Side markers
-bumper lights are just reflectors on the outer pieces
-power folding mirrors
-yin (sp?) tray
-under dash foot lights
-3rd brake light with prelude lettering
-limited slip differential
-keyless entry system
-TCS
-chrome interior door handles
-white or silver preludes w/ stock black interior (i dont believe this is available in the states)
-automatic window UP control
-driverside under dash ashtray (it wasnt on either of my USDM ludes)
-keyless rear seat release
-power seats (i believe this is an option everywhere except in the US)
-a quoted 5 horsepower gain over the usdm ludes due to compression?
-rear bumper has no corner lights
-si/vtec option (im pretty sure it is just a wheel variation and power control option)
-i heard about heated seat and heated mirror option but im not sure about those

ill get pics upon request of the stuff i have on my lude. the rest i have just seen and read about and coudl try and find pics of any specific item if you want...

i have a shop manual for a 1994 Prelude that has stuff about heated seats and then it says (canada only)... just thought id throw that in

i didnt know the moonroof visor thing was a honda option i had one on mine when i bought it and took it off and its sitting in a closet. i might put it back on or sell it..

i was gunna say bu tthe pics beat me to it, what about the rain guards and the gathers air freshener.

Also about the prelude third brakes light, does anyone know if u needs special brighter bulbs for this. Cuz i have one and mine doesnt light up and i know it works becuz i can see the red reflector under it light up a little bit. Plus ive tired it with it open and it works. I thought about sanding the back of the thing so light goes through and tried taking the red reflector out and it didnt work so well.
