Default dizzy problem

Hi there folks,,

i have been busy installing a f20b in my prelude...

long story short .

i was going to fire it up but nothing just some back fire or miss fire..

here what i did...

swapped a new oil pump and swapped over the crank sensor and crank pulley for the timing belt and i have left the gear for the balance shaft since the crank sensor is using it for timing ...

i have use the jdm f20b dizzy but i have only connected the 4 wire to it... power the black and yellow wire , also the yellow /green ECM and i have connected the blue wire together and the black for ground. i have left the other not connected.

my question is if i was going to use the crank sensor to the oil pump do i need to use the old original external dizzy ??? do the jdm one need to have the crank sensor wire connected any way to work properly ?
