Default Distributor question!!

So I'm almost done with my build, it's an H23vtec and I was wondering if an H22 distributor will be compatible? I don't have the one that came originally with the car (H23) Are the OBDII connectors different on the H22 dizzy and not compatible with the H23 wire harness?

obd1 h22 and h23 distributors are the same. Just make sure you get the right one for if you are internal or external coil. Either way, but can be modified very easily to work with either.

Yes I'm using the H22 head from a 97 prelude, so they also sent me the dizzy, I don't have the one that came with my car anymore, I have a 93 si.

I've already heard both distributors are the same, it's just that I wanted to know if I would have to modify the H23 wiring for the obdII dizzy or just order an obdI? Are the connectors the same?

If your car and harness are OBD1, you need an OBD1 distributor. 93 is OBD1 so I would have to say that you need an OBD1 distributor. The wiring is different for OBD1 and OBD2. Your harness will not plug into the OBD2 distributor. Even if it would it would not work properly. You can use the H23 or the H22 distributor as long as it is for an OBD1 engine.
