Default distributor problem-no spark

I'm trying to finish up my h22 swap and am having problems with getting spark to the plugs. I took out the plugs and attached the wires to it.. grounded the plug and turned the ignition and there was nothing. The original engine was an f22a1 with an external coil. The swapped engine is a jdm h22a with an internal coil. I read all over the place to just jump the blk/yel and yel wire that went to the external coil but that doesn't seem to be working. Just to make sure the rotor in the dist was turning i took off the cap and turned the ignition on and it seemed like it was turning kind of slow.. i took some video of it and uploaded it so everyone can see the speed it was turning. Just want some confirmation from everyone about the speed. thanks...

this is what I did:

Ran those wires right from the coil connector into the distributor and to the module

I'm a little reluctant to cut wires but at this point i'm willing to try anything.

I didn't actually cut any wires, just put some spade terminals on jumper wires, plugged them into the coil harness, and ran them into the distributor.

is that 2nd jumper wire from the internal coil itself to the ICM, or from the external coil harness to the ICM? B(-) to GRN

they both go from the existing coil plug to the ICM

the blue wire on the external coil harness isn't connected to anything so it's really pointless to have to run it to the ICM.. at least that's what I'm gathering from studying both internal and external coil schematics.

In the internal coil the B(-) is already connected to the ICM with a WHT/BLU wire. I don't think the wiring is the reason why it isn't starting.

turned the ign on then tested for cont from + battery terminal to the 2pin connector on the dist, there is signal, and i already test for cont. from the 2 pin to the coil, there is signal there too.

okay, i took off the cap and tested for cont. between A+ and B- on the coil and i get a signal. Test from A+ to contact spring, nothing.... B- to contact spring, nothing.. i'm thinking the coil is bad.

Well what I did when swaping a jdm h22 into my SI(h23) external coild was to just put a 30 amp fuse in the harness that connects to the external coil. Work fine for me. What year is your car? Do you have another dizzy to try out?

It's a 92 S. I have the dist that was on the f22 but the holes don't line up.

I'm thinking of just trying a new cap and rotor first, the contacts look kinda beat. Does anyone know for what year/model cap i need for an internal coil dist?
