Distributor Help
I have a friend that recently did an H22a swap into his 96 prelude si. He is having problems with the distributor, the distributor on the h22a has an internal coil can he use the external coil off of the H23. since he's using his H23 wire harness which three wires need to be rewired to where.thanks.

Does he have an obd2 to obd 1 conversion harness?

1996 preludes are obd2,
if you friend swapped a h22a in that was obd1 he would need a conversion harness at the ecu and i think he would have to use the h23 wiring harness that was on his old engine.
we need to know what ecu he is using what wiring harness he has on the engine and then we can tell you what to do, if the wiring is done properly you can use the h22 or h23 distributor .
