Default distributor ROd

hey if you guys know what the distributor rod is.
what causes it to break...
well i took my car to honda because it broke down and he said my distributor rod is broken...
hmmm any help would be good

Did they show you the part? I agree that it is probably the Rotor. Simply replace it and the cap and gasket (yes there is one for the cap). The dealer/shop will make sure nothing else is damaged.

nah they didnt show me the part... and that what they only told me
but if it was the rotor... how would it break...
and when they replace it dont they have ot retime the distributor..
would it make the car go harder or feele better..
