JDM got a lot of little things

climate control, JDM headlights, optional LSD, higher compression, power mirrors, side markers, right hand drive, a rear lip similar to a '96 accord's, optional sunroof...

I've never seen a Prelude w/o a sun/moonroof except the Type-S? Definitely news to me if the JDM 4gens had optional sunroofs.

I don't think so...I thought it was BB1 for 92-93 and BB4 for 94-96

As far as I understand... there were 4 versions of the JDM 4th Gen. (91-95) Prelude available... All 4 models were available for all 5 years:

1.) Model: Prelude Si...
- Chassis: E-BA8 / Engine: F22B / Steering: 2 Wheel

2.) Model: Prelude Si w/ Hyper 4WS...
- Chassis: E-BA9 / Engine: F22B / Steering: 4 Wheel

3.) Model: Prelude Si VTEC...
- Chassis: E-BB4 / Engine: H22A / Steering: 2 Wheel

4.) Model: Prelude Si VTEC w/ Hyper 4WS...
- Chassis: E-BB1 / Engine: H22A / Steering: 4 Wheel

***All models were available with a 5 Speed Manual or a 4 Speed Automatic Transmission, Optional Driver's and Passenger's Air Bags, Optional Cruise Control, Optional Fog Lights, Optional Rear Spoiler, Optional Front Lip, and Optional Sunroof.

***Side Impact Bars, 3-Point Rear Seat Belts, Power Door Locks, Power Windows, Tilt Steering, and a Rear Window Wiper were all Standard Equipment.

***Optional LSD Transmission, Optional Power Front Seats, Optional Leather Seats, and Leather Steering Wheel were only available in the Si VTEC Models (BB1's and BB4's).

I hope this information is useful. If anyone sees a mistake in my post, don't hesitate to correct it... I'm pretty sure that I'm correct, but I'm only human...

Peace

As for the USDM 4th Gen. (92-96) Prelude... There were 5 versions available, though not all at the same time:

1.) Model: Prelude S / Years: '92-'96...
- Chassis: E-BA8 / Engine: F22A1 / Steering: 2 Wheel

2.) Model: Prelude Si / Years: '92-'96...
- Chassis: E-BB2 / Engine: H23A1 / Steering: 2 Wheel

3.) Model: Prelude Si w/ Electronic Control 4WS / Years: '92-'94...
- Chassis: E-BB2 / Engine: H23A1 / Steering: 4 Wheel

4.) Model: Prelude SE / Years: 1995...
- Chassis: E-BB2 / Engine: H23A2 / Steering: 2 Wheel

5.) Model: Prelude VTEC / Years: '93-'96...
- Chassis: E-BB1 / Engine: H22A1 / Steering: 2 Wheel

***I'm not sure about the chassis code for the 1995 Prelude Special Edition... It's basically a VTEC shell with a H23A engine. So, I'm not sure if it would be the BB1 or the BB2 code?? Perhaps, someone with a Prelude SE can elaborate for us...

- Thanks to H-T member: "95greenlude" for the update!

I hope this information is useful. If anyone sees a mistake in my post, don't hesitate to correct it... I'm pretty sure that I'm correct, but I'm only human...

Peace

the whole point was that it has no sunroof, hence all you need to do is look at the picture
